Leander Girrbach

I’m a PhD candidate in the Explainable Machine Learning Group at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Helmholtz Munich.

Before that, I did my Master’s in Computational Linguistics at the University of Tübingen and my Bachelor’s in Computational Linguistics at the University of Heidelberg.

I’m interested in understanding deep learning models and how their training data shapes their behavior.
Beyond academia, I’m interested in ancient cultures and languages, especially Chinese and Japanese culture.
